JioMart is an e-commerce platform operated by Reliance Retail. During the lockdown, this platform has provided its customers with a new facility and that facility is ‘WhatsApp Order Booking Service’ i.e. now you can also place orders from Jiomart via WhatsApp. A Jiomart WhatsApp number has been released for this new feature, which promises to take orders for essential items and deliver them to you within 48 hours. Let us tell you, recently Facebook bought a 9.99 stake in Reliance Jio and only after that this new feature of WhatsApp was launched by the company. Some time ago, it was reported that the telecom operator is going to introduce WhatsApp Push for JioMart and now the company has started doing that too. At present, this facility is only available in a few places in Maharashtra. This new Jiomart WhatsApp order booking facility has only been made live in some parts of Navi Mumbai, Thane and Kalyan.

Reliance Jio entered a WhatsApp number for this facility. Gadgets 360 tested the JioMart WhatsApp Order Booking facility in Navi Mumbai and we were able to place the order. For this, users need to save this WhatsApp number on their phone and then they can chat on it. However, the thing to note is that home delivery is not done under this facility. After you have placed the order, you can pick up this order at the nearest supermarket.

So let’s know how to place Jiomart order on WhatsApp step by step-

1. First save +91 88500 08000 on your smartphone as Jiomart.

2. After you have saved the number, look up this number in your WhatsApp contact, the list must be refreshed for this.

3. Now send a ‘Hello’ message to this contact number.

4. After you send the message, you will receive an automatically generated message. This post tells that this facility is only available in Navi Mumbai, Thane and Kalyan.

5. If you place your order with Jiomart before 7:00 PM, you will receive this order at your nearest supermarket within two days.

6. You will also get a link in this auto-generated message, which will only be available for 30 minutes. If you don’t use this link within 30 minutes. So you have to send a ‘Hello’ message to place the order again.

7. Clicking on the link will open the page of ‘Gemart’, on this page you will be asked for some information. Such as your home address and your telephone number etc.

8. Click on ‘Continue’ after filling in the details.

9. Now you will see the list of items available in the supermarket. This list is not as big as expected. Jiomart needs to rectify this.

10. Once the order is placed, JioMart will tell you the total payment amount and immediately send another WhatsApp message.

11. In the following message you will be given the name and address of the nearest supermarket where you can pick up the ordered goods. You will also receive a telephone number where you can get more information by telephone. Apart from this, once your order is ready, you will also receive a message to receive it from your nearest supermarket. Payment for the order must be made at the time of receipt of the goods.

12. In addition, Geomart will also send you a Google Map link. With the help of which you can easily reach that supermarket.
